Community Food Drive

Community Food Drive

Berlin

About This Opportunity

The Community Food Drive is a monthly initiative organized by the Berlin Food Bank in partnership with local churches. Our mission is to collect and distribute food to individuals and families facing food insecurity across Berlin.

Each month, we set up collection points at churches throughout the city, where community members can donate non-perishable food items. Volunteers help sort, package, and distribute these donations to those in need.

This food drive at St. Mary's Church is one of our largest monthly events, typically collecting enough food to support hundreds of families. The church serves as both a collection point and a distribution center, allowing us to directly connect with the community we serve.

By volunteering with us, you'll play a crucial role in fighting hunger and supporting vulnerable members of our community. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your commitment to service and compassion.
